Equivalent Fractions

This is my Equivalent Fractions slide equivalent means like the same.

Zoo trip

2 weeks ago we went to the zoo we went into groups I was in

group 1 then we got our zoo booklets to write the answers.

 First we saw the turataras and the skinks I learnt that the turatara

has a third eye under the skin and I learnt that skinks lick there eyes to clean it.

I liked the seals the most because they were fast at swimming and when they swim they look like a missile

when the zoo keeper threw a shrimp and it drops in the water the seal will go after it.

When we went to the elephants I knew it was a Asian elephant because I saw it had wrinkly skin and small

ears and its back was a slope

After the other animals we saw we went back to the front of the zoo and waited for our bus.

Samoan Language Week

On  week five it was Samoan language week!!!

On Wednesday we went to to the hall for the taste of Samoa we learn't what they wear and eat.

I learn't that they polish the coconut then they paint it and carve it

to make there earnings and bracelets 

Then we saw James and his mother making some coconut cream

they got some coconut husk and they squeezed the coconut and it turns in to coconut cream.

    On Friday it was the Samoan Language week assembly I leant how the

coconut tree came to Samoa

   After the assembly we got a bowl of chop suey it was delicious it was so delicious I ate it all.
